a2b Fulfillment, a third-party logistics provider with a specialty in consumer-direct order fulfillment and customer care, appoints Katherine Meyer as Director of Contact Center Services. “a2b Fulfillment is delighted to strengthen our contact center operation, which specializes in customer care, with this important appointment” commented Ayal Latz, President of a2b Fulfillment, Inc. “Katherine has been an integral member of the team since the center was launched in November 2011. She has been instrumental in helping us achieve high levels of service success.”
“This Director position is a perfect extension of my work history,” explained Meyer. “Prior to working for a2b, I was employed by The Ritz-Carlton specializing in best practices regarding customer interactions. That appointment was followed by a position of Practice Administrator for a Surgery Center and several medical offices throughout the Atlanta area,” Meyer elaborated.
“We offer a boutique-style contact center that focuses on the finest details of customer care aimed at providing an exceptional customer experience. This is what we set out each and every day to achieve, one customer interaction at a time,” Meyer continued. “Each customer interaction is valued highly at a2b Fulfillment. “We have a very low turnover rate,” stressed Meyer. “We use training techniques from Steven Covey and follow hiring guidelines similar to those of The Ritz-Carlton. Our hiring practices are very stringent as we seek only the most caring, compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. Most of our agents are interested in developing long term careers at a2b.”
Latz summarized the success of a2b’s Customer Care division, “We started the operation from scratch, in order to be closer to our customers’ customers. As a result, we are now more intimately involved with all aspects of our clients’ business, more than ever before. Since we know exactly what is going on with every campaign, we can provide better overall service, including fulfillment.”
Today, a2b offers service on both shared and dedicated models. Due to a recent physical expansion, the operation is scale-able and can be ramped up quickly to handle short and long term growth.
Katherine’s diverse background includes a stint in the Peace Corp, serving in Zambia, where she worked on water sanitation and health education projects. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, biking and volunteering with various Non-Profit-Organizations.
